AGENDA
Welcome and Introductions – Bob Hutson, Chair
Review and Approval of Meeting Minutes – Bob Hutson, Chair
HSOC members will need to review and approve minutes from the last meeting.
Membership Turnover and Introduction of New Members – Bob Hutson, Chair
Those primary members who have one-year terms will be replaced by their alternates. Paul Rueff will take over as Chair of the HSOC.
Nomination and Election of new Vice Chair – Paul Rueff
As the vice chair will be stepping into the role of chair, the committee will accept nominations for vice chair and an election will follow.
The committee will need to provide nominations and vote on vice chair. Please note that the person selected for vice chair must currently be an alternate.
Update on FY06 Grant Expenditures to Date – Christine Sorbello and Tammy Snodgrass, MRPC
MRPC staff will provide an update on procurement process, expenditures to date, MOU status, etc.
FY07 Regionalization – Zada Farris, SEMA
Zada Farris will discuss FY07 grant justifications, grant dollars available to Region I, the application process and timeline.
Local Grant Application – Tammy Snodgrass, MRPC
MRPC staff will provide a draft local application for funding for the FY07 grant round for the committee to review.
The committee will need to vote to make changes or approve the application and vote to approve the timeline for Region I.
Discussion of Discipline Groups – Tammy Snodgrass
MRPC staff will discuss ways that staff can assist primary representatives in working with the groups they represent on the HSOC.
Office of Homeland Security Update – Introduce Chief Interoperability Officer
DHSS Updates
Scheduled Meeting Dates and Deadlines – Paul Rueff, Chair
