Randy Verkamp called the October 11, 2007 meeting of the Phelps County PHA Housing Advisory Board to order at 5:37 p.m. The meeting was held at the Meramec Regional Planning Commission.

Ed Worley made a motion to approve the minutes from the August 9, 2007 meeting. It was seconded by Robert Reed. The motion carried.
Ronald Counts is now a member of the Housing Advisory Board as the FSS program participant.
Fiscal Officer, Linda Loughridge presented the PHA audit. Total revenue $2,811,337. Total expenditures $2,779,901. The PHA had an excellent audit with no findings. Robert Reed made a motion to approve the FY2006-2007 housing audit and cost. It was seconded by Ed Worley. The motion carried.
Linda Hollandsworth reviewed the Housing Advisory Board by-laws. Representatives may attend housing advisory board meetings if they are a member of the County Commission or the Commission has designated a permanent representative. This designation must be in writing.
Linda Hollandsworth requested to have a member of the Commission to volunteer as hearing officer for the PHA. Ed Worley volunteered and Randy Verkamp volunteered as needed.
Linda Hollandsworth reported the PHA’s 2007 SEMAP (Section Eight Management Assessment Program) score is rated HIGH. This score, provided by HUD, measures the PHA management performance in 14 key areas of the Housing Choice Voucher program.
