AGENDA

1. Call to Order & Welcome:

2. Approval of February Minutes:
   Co-Chairman Russell Schuelen. Board Action Required

3. Report on Hermann Downtown Bridge: Jay Gourley, Hermann Community/Economic Developer
   Jay will present information on the Hermann Downtown Bridge: a concrete structure completed in the spring of 1930.  The bridge has become obsolete and is dangerous due to its narrow driving lanes and deteriorating concrete.  The bridge needs to be removed and a new bridge built that is at least 3 or 4 feet higher then the existing bridge.  The city of Hermann is requesting the TAC to add the bridge to its needs list and consider it for future funding.

4. AASHTO Self-Assessment: Connie Willman
   The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) has established a self-assessment framework for state transportation agencies to determine public involvement effectiveness in our area. The committee answered questions for this self-evaluation at the February meeting. Connie will share the results of the survey and request suggestions for areas needing improvement.

5. Grant Applications: Connie Willman
   Connie will report on transportation-related grant applications recently submitted.

6. MoDOT Updates and Staff Reports: (As time allows)
   Districts 5 and 9 Engineers will update TAC members on local projects. MRPC staff will report.
